About: Based in Oswego, Illinois, Brenda Avila is a Graphic Designer. She transferred to North Central after obtaining her associate’s degree from Waubonsee Community College. She chose the path of graphic design due to her love of designing, from color palettes to concepts. A project that she enjoyed was redesigning book covers. She enjoys experimenting and using new media for arts and crafts. Using Clip Studio Paint, she illustrates characters, which takes some inspiration from manga and certain comics artists. She’s also recently taken up photography and photo editing and has been exploring it in her own time, focusing on portraits and fashion photography.
