Chelsea Smith

Fall 2025, BFA Graphic Design

Chelsea is a BFA student in Graphic Design. In high school, she began using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, which sparked her interest in art. She transferred to North Central from Waubonsee Community College and has worked for the Horizons Literary magazine as a key graphic designer. She indulges in various media, including digital drawing in Infinite Painter, watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, and crocheting. Chelsea is often inspired by the design used for social awareness and community-based work that directs attention to important issues. She loves to create and appreciates the community that art and design bring. After graduating, she plans to pursue agency and freelance work.
