Katie Wagner

Spring 2023, Philosophy and Design Major, Sociology Minor

Katie is a sophomore at NCC and a student-athlete on the Women’s Track and Field team. She is almost always listening to music or giggling with friends. When she’s not designing or running, she’s usually thrifting, hanging out with friends, coaching, or helping out at her local high school’s art and design program! Katie also works as a Track and Field assistant, managing the team’s Instagram with the graduate assistant. Designing allows her to be her authentic self, allowing her to be a part of projects that are bigger than herself. She loves the way that art and design allow communication, oftentimes without words, and brings together people that would have never otherwise met. Design challenges her to solve problems and grow in ways that she would never have if it weren’t for being exposed to the design world. Her favorite part of design is that she is constantly learning new things and creating work that she is proud of!
